TECHNOLOGY
Technology Behind Paint Protection Film
Clear bra is a transparent urethane material. It is also known as Paint protection film (PPF). This technology was developed during the Vietnam war. It helped helicopters and other Army vehicles which needed constant replacement from the damage caused by flying dirt and rocks.
PPF manufacturers develop a new technology that would be flexible, lightweight, and cost-effective. The film could be compensated instead of restoring entire helicopter blades. The urethane (PPF) film was made available to the general public in the 1990s. This technology has been improved and perfected over the years.
