Wax and ceramic coatings are both roads that take you to the same destination, but they’re different surfaces. Wax is made of a natural material like tree sap or carnauba wax which gives your surface protection from sun exposure, moisture and environmental pollution–your old winding 2-lane road into town! Ceramic coating refracts light in ways similar to glass by making it difficult for people outside looking at your vehicle’s exterior layer see what color paint might be underneath; this makes sure no one can tell if you bought cheap black spray paint instead of factory gloss black vinyl wrap without their knowledge.

Below is a breakdown of how ceramic coatings are installed. 100% Hand Car Wash Using PH neutral soap and a clean wash mitt and safe towel to dry. Paint Decontamination Clay bar treatment to mechanically decontaminate the paint followed by a chemical decontamination with iron removers. Labor intensive Machine Paint Correction We must make your car’s paint as close to perfect as possible so that we don’t seal those defects under the coating. Surface Cleansing Coating Prep We apply an alcohol-based cleansing solution to give the coating a proper surface to bond too. Unlike wax coatings bond to your clear coat. Tedious Panel by Panel Installation We apply the coating panel-by-panel with an applicator and special soft towels to prevent further damage.
